Lotsio supports all major DACH languages: German (DE), French (FR), Italian (IT), and English (EN). Our AI can analyze contracts written in any of these languages and provide results in your preferred language. The platform interface is also available in all four languages.

Our AI is trained on thousands of DACH legal documents and court cases. Every analysis includes precise legal citations from BGB (German Civil Code), ABGB (Austrian Civil Code), and OR (Swiss Code of Obligations). While AI analysis is highly accurate, we recommend consulting a licensed lawyer for critical legal decisions.

Lotsio specializes in rental contracts (Mietverträge) but also supports employment contracts, service agreements, purchase contracts, and general terms & conditions. We cover consumer contracts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The AI is optimized for rental agreements but can analyze any legal document in the DACH region.

All data is automatically deleted exactly 1 hour after upload. This includes your contract document, analysis results, and any generated letters. The deletion is permanent and irreversible. We maintain audit logs (without personal data) for 90 days to comply with GDPR accountability requirements.

Lotsio provides AI-powered legal analysis as an informational tool, not legal advice. Results include specific citations from DACH legal codes and case law for transparency. While our AI is highly accurate, we recommend using results as a starting point and consulting a licensed lawyer for critical decisions or complex cases. The generated lawyer letters are templates that should be reviewed before sending.

Lotsio is fully trained on German (BGB), Austrian (ABGB), and Swiss (OR) legal codes. Our AI automatically detects the jurisdiction based on contract language and content, then applies the appropriate legal framework. We cover federal law and major regional variations (e.g., cantonal laws in Switzerland, state laws in Germany and Austria).

You can upload a contract in any DACH language (DE/FR/IT/EN) and receive analysis results in your preferred language. Our AI first extracts text using advanced OCR, analyzes it in the original language for accuracy, then translates results while preserving legal terminology. Legal citations are provided in both the original language and your selected language.

Lotsio supports PDF, Microsoft Word (DOCX), and image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC). For images and scanned PDFs, we use advanced OCR to extract text. Maximum file size is 10MB for trial users and 50MB for Professional subscribers. We recommend using PDF or DOCX for best results.
