By accessing or using Lotsio ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Lotsio provides AI-powered legal intelligence for the DACH region:

• AI-Powered Contract Analysis: Comprehensive analysis of employment contracts, rental agreements, insurance policies, NDAs, service agreements, and other legal documents
• 20+ DACH Legal Statutes: Jurisdiction-specific analysis covering German (BGB, MiLoG, TzBfG, etc.), Austrian (ABGB, GewO, etc.), and Swiss (OR, ZGB, etc.) law
• Intelligent Legal Citations: Automatically selects relevant laws based on contract type (employment, insurance, rental) and jurisdiction (DE, AT, CH)
• Risk Assessment: Identification of hidden fees, unfair clauses, and legal risks specific to DACH regulations
• Dual-Perspective Analysis: Provides both contracting parties' perspectives for balanced insights
• Letter Generation: Automated creation of legally-grounded correspondence in German, French, Italian, and English

We offer the following subscription plans:

• Billing Cycles: Essential Pack and Duo Pack are billed annually; Team Pack is billed monthly in advance
• Token System: Access tokens are delivered via email upon subscription
• Quota Reset: Usage limits reset with each billing cycle (annual or monthly)
• No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable except as required by law

You agree to:

• Lawful Use: Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Accurate Information: Provide accurate and complete information
• Token Security: Keep your access tokens secure and confidential
• Appropriate Content: Upload only legitimate contracts and legal documents
• Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Prohibited Activities:

• Attempting to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Sharing access tokens with unauthorized users
• Uploading malicious files or content
• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract our AI models
• Using the Service for illegal activities

Our data handling practices:

• Automatic Deletion: All uploaded contracts are deleted within 1 hour
• GDPR Compliance: Full compliance with European data protection laws
• DACH Processing: All data processing occurs within DACH regions
• Privacy Policy: Detailed privacy practices available in our Privacy Policy

By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy.

Ownership and rights:

• Service Ownership: The creators of Lotsio own all rights to the Service, including AI models and analysis algorithms
• User Content: You retain ownership of documents you upload
• Analysis Results: AI-generated analysis and letters are provided for your use under these terms
• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use our Service for personal or business purposes

Lotsio shall not be liable for:

• Decisions made based on AI analysis results
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Errors or omissions in AI-generated content
• Technical issues or service interruptions

Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account termination conditions:

• User Termination: You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Service Termination: We may terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
• Data Deletion: All user data is automatically deleted upon termination
• No Refunds: Termination does not entitle you to refunds

Upon termination, your access to the Service will immediately cease.

Legal framework:

• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany
• Jurisdiction: Courts of Germany have exclusive jurisdiction
• DACH Compliance: Service complies with German, Austrian, and Swiss regulations
• Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights
